Joy Jones, CEO of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), and Ashish Bhardwaj, senior vice president and head of Market Development, visited the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SEM) for a symposium and discussion with Dean BAI Chong-En on January 25, 2024. Their visit strengthened bilateral cooperation in management education and promoted innovation and development.

At the symposium, Jones introduced the latest reforms of the GMAT, shared insights into new trends and developments in global business education, and emphasized the challenges and opportunities management education faces as new technologies emerge. After the symposium, BAI Chong-En introduced Tsinghua SEM's active role in exploring international admissions in emerging markets. He emphasized the school's goal to cultivate management talents with a global vision and more competitive Chinese enterprises through management education, as well as helping them to achieve sustainable development in foreign markets. BAI also spoke about his experiences with the MBA education seminar held by the school in preparation for the new era of AI, and introduced the school's exploration of business education in this era.
Through their discussions, both sides agreed to cooperate to further develop management education. They promised to address new challenges together in the field of management education and deepen their understanding of the influence management education has in promoting social development. Both said they look forward to cultivating more management talents with a global vision and innovative spirit that will contribute to the sustainable development of their industries.
