I enjoyed a lot the campus environment and campus tour at Tsinghua. I really liked the lectures, as they filled in many gaps in areas I had not encountered in my previous study and gave me fresh perspectives on topics I had already studied. My favorite lectures were by Professor Jia Ning and Professor He Ping. Professor Jia’s engaging and vivid teaching style deepened my understanding of China’s VC/PE landscape, while Professor He introduced us to entirely new concepts such as industry chain clustering, which I found highly insightful.

Among all the activities this week, what I enjoyed most was the company visits, which offered valuable real-world insights and connected theory with practice. The visit to Pop Mart was also memorable. It’s a very interesting company that has seen great success in its global expansion since last year, even the stores in London are always crowded. The visit to Ciming Checkup also showed me the great potential health checkup market holds, an industry full of both risks and opportunities as public awareness is still limited.
