What motivated me to join this summer program other than my lifelong dream to come explore China and try all the good food here, is to really immerse myself in a new environment and learn how China leverages its public-private partnerships to create growth in the economy.

I had an amazing time in short. The program brought together a thoughtful selection of professors who were deeply knowledgeable in their respective fields. Each of their topic was so relevant and timely. The company visits really exposed me to various sectors of Chinese economy and a lot of cutting-edge innovation were seen coming out of the country right now.

My favorite part of the program was the ability to connect with classmates from many different universities and programs and hear their perspectives on China. I loved socializing with my classmates and thought that the activities and meals organized were fantastic opportunities to do just that. The campus tour in particular was amazing; Tsinghua has such a huge campus and I felt I was able to see the main highlights. I also loved visiting all the canteens!
