◢ Introduction

The Research Center for Global Wealth Management, School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, was founded in 2026. It is a cutting-edge research center focusing on long-term wealth management and asset allocation.

The Center serves the national strategic need to transition from "wealth creation" to "wealth management," as well as the practical demand for the long-term preservation and appreciation of household wealth. Bringing together top scholars and senior industry professionals in behavioral finance and asset pricing from home and abroad, the Center collaborates closely with domestic financial institutions and regulatory authorities while maintaining close communication with the international academic community and leading wealth management platforms.

The Center aims to build a systematic framework to bridge the gap between academic research and industry practice in China's wealth management sector. To this end, it focuses on investor behavior and decision-making mechanisms, asset allocation strategies cross business cycles, life-cycle wealth management, and pension finance. Furthermore, it explores the risks and challenges facing wealth management amidst an aging population and rising macroeconomic uncertainty, while analyzing the future trends of intelligent and personalized wealth management empowered by financial technology.
