◢ Introduction

The Research Center for Competitive Dynamics and Innovation Strategy, School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University was established in 2019. With the mission of pursuing the Chinese and Western innovation method with the wisdom of helping the people, the center enhances its academic and social influence in the field of competitive dynamics and innovation strategy. As a new think tank based in China and with a global view, the center aims to integrate the academic, teaching, and enterprise practices in the field of global strategic management, and serve Chinese enterprises, management scholars and students in China and around the world. The center plays an important role in assisting the government in objective decision-making, enhancing the enterprises’ understanding about themselves, helping management scholars in theoretical innovation, guiding the academic circle to integrate theory with practice, and helping discipline construction, scientific research level, industrial application of scientific research achievements and talent training, etc. related to enterprise strategy and innovation and entrepreneurship management in the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management and even Tsinghua University. The center strives to cultivate a group of international high-end talents who integrate Chinese and Western theories with practice, and maintain an international leading position in the field of competitive dynamics and innovation strategies.

The center mainly conducts in-depth research on competitive dynamic theories and digital innovation, publishes many papers and series of works, compiles related cases, and analyzes the best practices of enterprises by integrating competitive dynamics and innovation strategies. Since its establishment, the center has helped to participate in the annual Competitive Dynamics International Conference and the Chinese Management Scholars Workshop, to enhance the influence of the global Chinese management scholar community. The center has also actively held academic conferences such as “Seminar on Globalization Development and Digital Transformation of Enterprises”.
