Biography

Graduated with a PhD in business administration from the Richard IveySchool of Business (formerly Western Business School), The University of Western Ontario, Canada, I returned to Hong Kong and joined the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as an Assistant Professor of Information and Systems Management in 1992. I was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in July 1998. Between October 1996 and April 1999, I was Associate Dean and Director of Undergraduate Programs of the School of Business & Management. I moved to theSchoolofBusiness, The University of Hong Kong (HKU) inMay 1999. Currently at HKU, I am a Professor in the area of Information Systems.
