【Background Information】

Xu Xin is an Assistant Professor at the School of Business and Management, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. from theUniversityofCalifornia,Irvine. His current research interests include corporate governance and information technology value implications, innovation adoption and diffusion, and the use of information technology in supply chain relationships. His papers have been published or accepted for publication in Management Science, MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of MIS, and European Journal of Information Systems. Along with his coauthors, he won the Vernon Zimmerman Best Paper Award at the 2007 Asian-Pacific Conference on International Accounting Issues, two Best Paper Awards at the International Conference on Information Systems, 2002 and 2003, and a Best Paper Award (International Track) at the 2004Americas’ Conference on Information Systems. He was the winner of an international doctoral research competition sponsored by SAP Inc. and the eBusinessResearchCenterat thePennStateUniversity.
