【Background Information】

Hau Chyi is an applied microeconomist who specializes in topics on labor and public economics. His current research issues focus mainly on two areas: first, the effects of maternal decisions on children's developments, and second, policy effects on the decisions of low-skilled single mothers. Given his research and teaching experience in China, he is also working on related issues using Chinese panel and cross-sectional data.
