Erik Brynjolfsson is Schussel Family Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the Director of the MIT Center for Digital Business. He received Ph.D. in Managerial Economics at the MIT Sloan School in 1991. He is also the research associate of National Bureau of Economic Research, an advisor of Academic Advisory Council of Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and a member of Time Magazine Board of Economists. He was the Founder and Director of Boston Computer Society Expert Systems Group, the Co-Chairman of Workshop on Information Systems and Economics, a Core faculty of Stanford Computer Industry Project.
