Background Information

Dr. TIAN Xuan is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Dr. TIAN received his Ph.D. from Boston College and his B.A. from Peking University, China. His research interests focus on corporate finance with a special emphasis on venture capital and private equity. One of the key questions that he addresses is how various characteristics of venture capital financing help create value for entrepreneurial firms. His research has been presented at numerous university workshops and academic conferences such as Western Finance Association, Financial Intermediation Research Society, and European Finance Association meetings.
