During the activity, students from China and South Korea served as volunteer teachers for Zhenhua Primary School, a school for migrant workers’ children at Beijing’s suburb. Volunteers taught courses of English, painting, etc.. for the studentsand communicated with them with full of patience and care. Volunteers also bought paint for the school and freshened the walls inside the classroom with two-day efforts.

Before the conclusion of the activity, together with pupils at Zhenhua School, college students from the two nations held a party where they gave a wonderful performance. The volunteers from China and South Korea have built up sincere friendly ties after getting along with each other for days. At the farewell party on July 2, volunteers hugged together for the future spreading of the volunteer spirit and agreed that the two side should collaborate in holding more volunteer activities in the future.

The activity received tremendous support from SK Telecom (South Korea) and Tsinghua SEM EDP Center.
