Chinese Ministry of Education and the Degree Committee of the State Council have announced the list of 2008 China Top 100 Excellent Dissertations recently. Tsinghua SEM Yang Peng' s dissertationAttribute Domain-Based Association Rules Extensionswas selected onto the list of the top 100.

Yan Peng graduated from the Department of Management Science and Engineering with a doctoral degree in 2006. His academic papers have been published on many international journals during his doctoral studies. He has won the first prize of the University Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award and the title of Outstanding Doctoral Graduating Student of Tsinghua University.
