Chinese Women Health Care Management Program Selects Out the Participants for its First Class

60 females will be the participants for the first class of the Chinese Women Health Care Management Program as Tsinghua SEM has hosted a formal interview for all the applicants that are interested in program the during October 10-11.

The interview committee is made up of professors from Tsinghua SEM and Yale School of Management, representatives from Goldman Sachs as well as professionals from health care sectors and business community.

Since launched in July, the Chinese Women Health Care Management Program has attracted a number of female managers from health care sector in China. Among the applicants admitted to the first class, most of them are among the age of 30-40, with the oldest 55 and the youngest 25.

Launched as part of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women initiative, the training program is provided for the middle level and senior managers in health care; curriculum will cover scientific problem including health care organizations, quality management and evaluation, HR management, financial management, crisis management and leadership. The first class will be opened in November and the program will ultimately train 500 managers in the healthcare sector over the next five years.
