166 senior entrepreneurs and governmental officials joined the spring class of EMBA Program on March 31, 2010, starting the two-year study in Tsinghua SEM.

The average age of participants is 41. The average work experience amounts to 21 years.

Since the launching of the Program, the EMBA Program has recruited nearly 3,000 entrepreneurs and senior managers, 1,935 among which have graduated with an EMBA degree.

The Opening Ceremony of the class was held on the afternoon of March 31. Present at the meeting were Professor QIAN Yingyi, Dean of Tsinghua SEM, Associate Dean Professor BAI Chong-en and Assistant Dean Professor WANG Jun.

On the ceremony, five participant representatives delivered themed speeches.

“I’m deeply aware of the responsibility we bear as a faculty member,” said Dean QIAN Yingyi after the speeches. He welcomed new students, and explained about the difference between the academic learning awaiting participants and their old working environment.

At the beginning of April, new participants took part in the outward development session and the TechMark simulative management training as a beginning of their EMBA study.
