The first 2010 enrollment Open Day of the EMBA Program was held on April 24, 2010.

The Open Day is a conventional event that aims to better inform prospective students about the Program. It usually has both a spring session and a autumn session each year.

Present at the event was Professor LIAO Li, Associate Dean of SEM, Director of the EMBA Program. He introduced the recruitment record of the Program, and then explained what the Program has to offer for students in terms of knowledge and experience in operation and management, network and personal mindset.

WANG Yong, Executive Vice Director of the EMBA Program, introduced the history, curriculum, faculty and alumni network of the Program. He also answered applicants’ questions about the enrollment process and examination requirements.

After the introduction speeches, two student representatives shared their feelings in past half a year’s study with the audience. QI Hegang, Vice President of China Coal Energy Company Limited, said he considers the learning at SEM as a “0, 3, 6, 9 and infinity” process: zero means going back to campus and starting from a learner; three opening activities and celebrations immediately united the class members; students have been benefiting from six well-designed modules which amount to nine credits; friendship forged among classmates and the faculty has been providing infinite power and support.

After the Open Day, prospective students conducted face-to-face communication with the recruitment team. They also took part in the fifth EMBA homecoming day forum and the third China and the World Economic Forum.
