The second homecoming day for IMBA students was held on April 23, 2010. Present at the event were alumni, current students, 2010 pre-admitted students, SEM faculty and other guests.

The homecoming day is a conventional annual event of the IMBA program.

Professor QIAN Yingyi, Dean of Tsinghua SEM and Professor GAO Xudong, Director of the MBA program, took part in the homecoming gathering, as did MA Zhanchun, President of China National Investment & Guaranty Co. Ltd., and other honorary guests from a range of enterprises.

Dean QIAN Yingyi explained the recent MBA curriculum reform to alumni. He said, students now can gain more international vision, practical skills and leadership capability from the program.

Dean QIAN Yingyi also talked about achievements in the IMBA program. He encouraged IMBA students to boost their career by building a solid knowledge reserve and a strong social network.

Homecoming day provides a great platform to reunite with alumni friends and make full use of the network resources, saidMaximilian E. Johnson, a 2009 graduate of the IMBA program. LIAN Yuan, a current IMBA students, also considered the event as a opportunity to attain knowledge about different industries, and to access valuable network contacts that may help students in future job hunting.
