The launching ceremony of Tsinghua MBA Orientation 2012 officially began at 4:30 on the afternoon of August 24, 2011. Tsinghua MBA Orientation originated in 1999 as a unique “first course” of MBA curriculum at Tsinghua SEM. This year's event lasts two weeks. Its rich content aims to help students get familiar with the new curriculum system before the official start of the semester, to understand the case study method, to lay the foundation for leadership improvement, to introduce the concept of social responsibility, and to integrate into the Tsinghua MBA community. The participants include both current and new students, faculty, alumni and enterprises from outside Tsinghua.
