Tsinghua MBA Program Reform and Innovation Awarded 2014 National First Prize in Graduate Programs

Tsinghua SEM’s efforts and achievements in management education reform and innovation have earned international acclaim and students’ recognition. Dominic Barton, Global Managing Director of McKinsey, called Tsinghua SEM “the pioneer of education reform, topping the list of domestic academic institutions in MBA education development.” He concluded that Tsinghua SEM has taken the initiative to follow the best practice of world-leading business schools, is devoted to reform and constant innovation, spotting and taking advantage of opportunities for advancement. David Schmittlein, Dean of MIT’s Sloan School of Management, also spoke highly of Tsinghua SEM’s success in management education. He put a high value on the cooperation between MIT and Tsinghua, and “felt deeply proud of the 1500 graduates of Tsinghua IMBA program”. “Our cooperation creates some very important new programs and leads Tsinghua-MIT relations to a new phase.” “We have launched a new Tsinghua-MIT global MBA program,” David Schmittlein said. “The Global MBA program combines features that represent the international trend and those that reflect Chinese characteristics.
