Chen Daisun Memorial Lecture in Economics: Myron Scholes, 1997 Nobel Laureate in Economics

On December 3, 2014, Professor Myron Scholes, the Nobel Laureate in Economics in 1997 and the Frank E. Buck Professor of Finance, Emeritus, at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business delivered a lecture titled “Tracking Error and Global Asset Allocation” at the "Chen Daisun Memorial Lecture in Economics" held at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. The lecture was hosted by Professor Chong-En Bai, Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Management. In his opening remarks, Professor Bai first introduced the original intention and the significance of establishing the "Chen Daisun Memorial Lecture in Economics". Professor Daisun Chen made a great contribution to promoting economics education in China and thus is considered "the father of modern economics education of China". Professor Bai then introduced Professor Scholes to the audience and expressed warm welcome on his visit.
